About the author
As a new Christian years ago I asked God to show me His ways. He answered by giving this Gentile seeker a Jewish heart. The Lord imparted a love for His covenant people and taught me to see Scripture through a Hebraic lens, making the Bible come alive for the first time. This blog is a diary of that journey. The work includes teachings, devotionals and short stories. In the "featured entries" column, the first three titles are re-edited versions of articles that appeared in Christian magazines. The first two are about Jewish refugee ships that were denied entry by America and other nations during World War II, forcing them to return to Nazi-occupied Europe and the Holocaust. The third profiles missionary pilots who witness miracles regularly while serving indigenous tribes in the Mexican outback.
As a Bible student I see Romans 11:17-18 clearly – the natural branch, Israel, supports the wild olive tree, the Gentile church. Israel is the source of spiritual nourishment, not the Greco-Roman, pagan influences that have poisoned Christianity. I am a newspaper page designer and freelance writer and photographer. I live in Washington state (USA) with my wife Alisa and four children.
